At Law&Pepper Advocaten, Iris Jans focuses on financial law & insolvency law, and business law. She is an outgoing, inquisitive and enthusiastic person.

Studies and specialisation
Iris followed a bachelor’s degree programme in law at the University of Applied Sciences in Tilburg. Iris subsequently completed her master’s degree programme at Maastricht University and Case Western Reserve University (Cleveland). Her master’s degree programme focused on commercial law and business law. In addition, she completed successfully the specialist course ‘Financing and Securities’ at Grotius Academy.

Getting started at Law&Pepper
After her graduation in 2015, Iris went to work as a legal assistant for a social enterprise. Iris has been working as a lawyer at Law & Pepper Advocaten since July 2017.

Register of practice areas
In the register of practice areas of the Netherlands Bar Association, Iris has registered the practice areas of financial law and civil procedural law. To maintain this registration, according to the standards of the Netherlands Bar Association she must obtain ten training points in each registered practice area every calendar year.
